I have only written one poem, ever
in my entire life
just one
and I guard it with my life
Temptations are great to release it
Several times I almost did
I have started wondering though
is it meant to be inside constantly
this one poem
Is it a poem to share
or a poem to hide from fresh air
.. and how come I have only one poem
Is that my creative limit?
Most poets have inspiration for numerous poems
.. and what if no one likes it
what if they want more and I can't give more
what if I forget the poem
What if I can't forget it even if I want to
What if I just stopped fantasizing
and got back to work
